Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Equity is one of the four­ ­standing committees of the Board of Education for the 2008-2009 school year. The primary responsibilities of the Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Equity Committee are to review curriculum, assess reform and restructuring initiatives. The Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Equity Committee meets monthly and meetings are open to the public.

Committee Members for the 2008-2009 school year are: Chairperson, Marguerite Poindexter LaMotte, Board Members, Marlene Canter, Yolie Flores Aguilar and Richard Vladovic.

The Committee meets in the Board Room at LAUSD Headquarters - 333 S. Beaudry Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90017. The Committee is scheduled to meet on the 2nd Thursday at 1:00 p.m. on the following dates, except as noted by an asterisk (*):
