Committee of the Whole

All of the Members of the Board of Education are Members of the Committee of the Whole.

The Committee of the Whole meets monthly and reviews specific issues brought before the whole Board.  The Committee Chair position rotates among the Board Members during the year.  The Board does not take action at Committee of the Whole meetings and the items before the group at any meeting are limited.  This allows for extended discussion on topics of interest to the Board.  The Committee routinely looks at issues of budget, personnel and the accountability structure within the District.  Individuals who wish to address the Board on any of the topics to be discussed should sign up at the meeting to be heard.
